Update on my Free Running progress

Everything is going great! Today, I had a very intense free-run. I climbed my tree twice to warm up, then did some stretching. Usually, I stretch first, but this time I wanted to jump right in. I might have skipped the stretching altogether, except that I'm being careful to nurture my growth in this new activity. Stretching warms up the muscles and helps prevent injuries.

Cancer cells revert to normal at specific signal threshold, Stanford researchers find

Summary: Stanfored researchers found that levels of a signaling molecule called Myc can be adjusted to a specific level to cause cancer cells to return to normal while allowing healthy cells to continue to function properly. This could provide an efficient cure for many types of cancer with minimal side effects. Here's the article:

My first experiences with Free Running

I just got into this a couple of weeks ago. It's amazing how fast the body adapts. I've done many things like this in the past, but in recent years, I've spent a lot of time at the computer. I've made sure to go biking or walking a dozen times or so each year, but I haven't been nearly as athletic as I was when I was a kid or in my teens. This is quickly changing...

6/14/08 approx 3:40 AM: Mattress Shaking

I woke up at 3:40 AM this morning with the mattress of my bed shaking. It felt like 3 distinct shakes or "footsteps" which started on the right side of the bed by my feet and moved toward my head. The last one was about where my right elbow was as I was sleeping on my back with my arm to my side. So again the activity came from the right side of the bed, which is next to the wall.

Paranormal/ghost experience: 6/10/08 approx 10:30 PM: Black Orb

Let me start by saying that I've been sleeping with a lamp on in my bedroom every night ever since I noticed that there was always far more activity in the room when the light is off. On 6/10, I forgot to turn on the lamp for the first time in months.
